It’s hosted on a private S3 bucket behind CloudFront, all in Terraform. GitHub Actions deploys it with short-lived OIDC credentials, so no AWS keys are stored anywhere. v1 stays at v1.jianlee.me, and jianlee.me switches over once v2 is ready.

Rep totals are hidden during a workout by default, so you focus on the card in front of you.

The summary shows your pace, and a community counter on the home and summary screens adds up everyone’s workouts and reps. Only card and rep counts are sent, nothing personal. There’s also a “What’s new” button with a dated changelog.

What started as a 52-card workout page became Burno: a rebuilt app with a virtual deck, a timer and custom moves, a new name, a Sunrise palette and a flip-stack logo, served from its own domain.

The same day it got Shuffle moves (no gear, gear or a mix), a shareable workout summary card that saves straight to Photos on iPhone, star ratings and feedback after every workout, and a Ko-fi tip link.

Each company you hold gets a card with its industry in plain words, sales by year, net margin, P/E and the top risks it lists in its 10-K, quoted in the filing’s order. “Show details” switches a card to the exact figures and the filings they came from.

Behind it, the backend now caches 10-K data so the cards load quickly, and the API moved to explicit routes. I also put up a living design system page so the UI stays consistent as the panels grow.

Its first panel, “What’s really inside”, looks through your funds to the companies they hold and shows how much of every $100 you have sits in each one, with a link to the SEC report each number comes from.

Smaller things from the same week: you pick tickers from a search list instead of typing them from memory, share-class tickers like BRK.B now work, and funds we can’t look inside (SPY, GLD, IBIT) say so instead of showing up as companies. A third panel, “New since you last looked”, lists SEC filings from your companies over the last 30 days.
